Position Summary

 

Odyssey Systems is recruiting to fill a Senior Configuration Data Manager position supporting the WIN Sensors Division, at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. WIN is part of the ISR/SOF Directorate (AFLCMC/WI), who is responsible for equipping our warfighters to win the fight. The Directorate executes a large acquisition portfolio developing, producing, testing, modifying, fielding, and supporting Air Force ISR and SOF platforms, and related sub-systems.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to: 

 

·       Support CM/DM tasks across development, production, and sustainment of AFLCMC systems.

·       Perform full CM/DM/EDM/DR activities in accordance with DoD and AF policies and guidance.

·       Gather, enter, and analyze data using automated systems and acquisition knowledge.

·       Provide CM support across configuration identification, change control, status accounting, and audits.       

·       Assist with CM/DM tasks for Government-acquired weapon systems and equipment.

·       Review program-unique specifications (system, development, product; hardware and software).

·       Verify proper format, content, standards compliance, and program alignment.

·       Identify issues and recommend corrective actions to the Government.

·       Process nomenclature and CPIN requests through proper channels.

·       Track requests through Government agencies and respond back to customers.

·       Support configuration control: receive, process, track, and close change and deficiency             documentation (SOOs, SOWs, ECPs, CCPs, RFD/RFWs, DRs, etc.).

·       Advise on change proposal completeness, CM/DM impacts, and policy compliance.

·       Recommend actions for Government review and disposition.

·       Help prepare and facilitate Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).

·       Maintain change proposal files and historical records.

·       Support FCAs, PCAs, and compliance audits (planning, execution, tracking actions/minutes).

·       Participate in technical reviews and TIMs with Government and contractors.

·       Maintain configuration status accounting databases and records for baselines and fielded systems.

·       Advise on selecting/tailoring DIDs and preparing CDRLs and AF Form 585.

·       Support and organize Government-approved data calls, including drafting data-call letters.

·       Support data reviews: integrate inputs, prepare materials, record minutes, and track actions.

·       Assist with preparing/maintaining CDRLs for RFPs, contracts, and mods.

·       Receive, log, track, and manage CDRL status; maintain electronic/manual DM files and histories.

·       Support STINFO control and dissemination.

·       Review marking, handling, and dissemination controls to ensure proper protection of technical data.

·       Support DR operations: receive, process, and track reports.

·       Maintain DR/MIP files and JDRS/contractor databases; provide exhibit disposition instructions.

·       Assist planning and conducting Materiel Improvement Project Review Board meetings.

Qualifications

 

 

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.

Clearance: Secret.

Certifications:  N/A.

Education:  Bachelor's or Master's (see below).

Years of Experience:

·       Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and 10 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD.

·       OR bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD.

Please note: Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
