MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's level degree or higher in STEM and/or equivalent job experience combined with education
-Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
-Ability to develop a vision for a team or an organization and develop and implement tactical actions to achieve the vision.
-Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment with strong skills in AS9100 certification and compliance requirements.
-Process improvement / process control experience.
Understanding of quality, procurement, operations, and risk management processes.
-Demonstrated ability to perform as a Full Spectrum Leader which includes: (1) Delivering Results, (2) Shaping the Future, (3) Building Effective Relationships, (4) Energizing the Team and (5) Modeling Personal Excellence, Integrity, and Accountability.
-Demonstrated ability to develop strong multi-functional team and develop strong customer relationships.
-Ability to give, receive, and act on critical feedback.
-Ability to form creative partnerships to improve execution and competitive performance.
-Experience and able to work complex projects from start to finish.
-Demonstrated ability to work at all levels of the organization to identify and drive systemic root cause and corrective action utilizing quantitative and qualitative analytical methods.
-Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
Desired Skills:
- STEM degree at Bachelor's level or higher is preferred
-Knowledge of Lockheed Martin/Aerospace quality related systems, processes and procedures as applicable to IRST hardware development, production, and/or sustainment to make data driven decisions
-Previous Quality experience, interpreting and applying contractual and AS9100 requirements.
-Strong product and process knowledge.
-Excellent technical skills, communication, and presentation skills.
-Demonstrated talent development and team building skills.
-High energy, self-starting, team player who achieves goals.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
