THE WORK
Quality Inspector on 1st shift supporting Circuit Card and Electro-mechanical assembly inspections for multiple board types and complexity.
This role will incorporate instructions, drawings or inspection instructions and checklists to visually inspect circuit card assemblies to manufacturing and industry specifications including IPC and related reference documents and standards. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Communicate effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management when resolving quality issues.

Basic Qualifications:
-A strong background in the manufacturing of printed circuit card assemblies of various size and complexity.

-Must have minimum 3 years prior solder, bonding and conformal coating Inspection experience.

-Familiar with SMT and PTH components

-Ability to understand and perform tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed.

- Strong understanding of solder and conformal coating acceptance criteria IAW IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.

-Ability to navigation the standard and make decision based on IPC criteria.

-Detail-oriented, quality minded and proficient interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions.

-Ability to perform accurate measurement verifications thru proper use of various devices (i.e. dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, etc).

-Proficient with Personal Computers and ability to navigation between multiple applications.

-This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Prior experience in using the Solumina manufacturing
execution system.
IPC-A-610 Certified Specialist
IPC-J-STD-001 Certified Specialist
A team player with strong verbal and written communications.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
