You will be the Manufacturing Engineer (PWB / PCB Computer Aided Manufacturing) for the Missiles & Fire Control Manufacturing Engineering – Dallas Electrical Shop PWB team. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑quality Printed Wiring Boards (PWB) that enable mission‑critical missile systems.


What You Will Be Doing


As the Manufacturing Engineer (PWB / PCB Computer Aided Manufacturing) you will be responsible for advancing manufacturing processes, work instructions, and risk‑mitigation strategies for PWB production.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Review designs and drawings to ensure compliance and manufacturability.
  • Create CAM data required to produce PWB in accordance with drawings and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, task lists, and re‑work/repair guides for non‑conformance processing.
  • Identify production risks, devise mitigation plans, and lead validation activities for new manufacturing lines.
  • Drive cost‑reduction initiatives while meeting schedule, quality, and safety targets.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.


Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or 3+years of related professional experience.
- Experience reading fabrication drawings for PWB / PCB.
- Experience in creating CAM data for PWB / PCB production.
- Experience manufacturing PWB / PCB assemblies to IPC and J-STD specifications.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with InCAM or similar software.
- Experience in PWB / PCB Design review process.
- Experience with PWB / PCB stackup / material selection.
- Ability to work independently and as a group with little guidance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills including verbal, listening, technical writing, and presentations
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration, and developing enduring business relationships
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
