Description:

You will be the Operations Technician - Level 3 for the Flight Line Operations team which is responsible for supporting engine run analysis, maintenance crew leadership, and flight line security.



What You Will Be Doing


As the Operations Technician - Level 3 you will be responsible for interpreting engine run and flight debrief data, leading maintenance crews, and ensuring secure handling of COMSEC equipment.


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Interpret engine run and flight debriefs, documenting fault anomalies and entering data into the troubleshooting database.
  • Lead a maintenance crew of 10+ represented employees, providing direction, training, and performance oversight.
  • Research, retrieve, and distribute blueprints and technical documents to flight‑line technicians.
  • Act as flight‑line supervisor and COMSEC gear custodian, maintaining security of classified equipment.
  • Interface with customers to provide status updates, resolve issues, and support weekend flight‑line operations as required.

Basic Qualifications:
• Broad leadership experience.

• Flight line production experience.

• Avionics, electrical, &/or mechanical
experience.

• Experience with detailed specification/blueprint
reading.

• C-130 troubleshooting and rigging knowledge
Desired Skills:
• Highly motivated and willing to drive change.
• Requires minimal oversight.
• Strong computer and organizational skills.
• C-130J Full Systems qualified.
• Familiar with
DIMS/EBOM/EDW/EMAP/SFM/QADS and other
LM applications.
• Prior field service experience.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
