You will be the Airworthiness Engineer for the Airworthiness Engineering Team which is responsible for enabling innovation and driving efficiency across the E&T organization.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Airworthiness Engineer you will be responsible for managing airworthiness artifacts and data throughout development, test, production, and sustainment or retrofit cycles, while ensuring documentation accuracy and integrity.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of airworthiness documentation.
  
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet certification requirements.
  
• Develop and implement process improvements for airworthiness management.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
Desired Skills:
• Aircraft certification experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with multiple levels of leadership
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with MS Office tools
• Software/coding experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
