Overview

LMI is seeking a summer intern to support our marketing team across three core areas: event execution, social media, and content development. This role offers hands-on experience contributing to high-visibility initiatives within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

The intern will work closely with marketing leaders, and play a key role in executing a large internal event featuring senior leadership, guest speakers, and a panel discussion, while also supporting broader marketing efforts that drive engagement and business development.

Responsibilities

1) Internal Event (Primary Focus)

  • Support planning and execution of a large internal event, including logistics, coordination, and day-of support
  • Help manage communications, including invitations, internal announcements, and run-of-show materials
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, speakers, and marketing team members to ensure alignment and readiness
  • Assist with real-time event support and execution

2) Social Media & Content Support

  • Assist with drafting and scheduling social media content
  • Support real-time event coverage (reels, recaps, highlights)
  • Help track organic and paid social performance and engagement metrics

3) Marketing Content Development

  • Support development and refinement of marketing materials used in campaigns and customer engagements (e.g., case studies, POVs, slides)
  • Assist in organizing and updating content for consistency and usability on an internal Marketing site
  • Help tailor materials for specific audiences or use cases

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking Bachelor's or Master's program 
  • Available full-time for 10–12 weeks starting end of May 2026
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, self-starter mindset with a willingness to jump in where needed
  • Interest in marketing, communications, events, or related fields
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation is a plus
