You will be the Project Engineer Development Vehicle Systems - Level 4 for the F-35 Line of Business Engineering (LOBe) team which is responsible for advancing vehicle‑systems development within the F‑35 program.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Project Engineer Development Vehicle Systems - Level 4 you will be responsible for shaping technical scope, cost, and schedule while partnering with Program Management and the Domain Excellence (Dex) team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• 
  
• Perform EV analysis at the contract level and assess impacts on overall engineering.
  
• Translate contract technical scope into clear alignment with program objectives and strategy.
  
• Communicate technical issues across management levels and drive resolution through detailed closure plans.
  
• Identify cross‑contract gaps and recommend pragmatic solutions.
  
• Spot risks and opportunities, then lead the development of closure plans through technical leadership.

Basic Qualifications:
•Minimum 5 years professional experience in a related discipline
•BS in Engineering or alternative STEM major with technical experience
•Project Engineering / Project Management / Technical experience
Desired Skills:
•EVMS (Earned Value Management System) and/or CAM (Control Account Management) experience
•Experience in Vehicle Systems and/or fuel systems development lifecycles
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Excellent presentation skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
