Lockheed Martin Space in LM Aguadilla, PR is seeking a full-time Early Career Component Engineer. In this role, you will work on a team in a range of projects that will challenge you to learn and grow in your career. You'll use your education, experience and growing expertise to drive selection of preferred PMP and maintain accurate PMP requirements in the engineering tools (PMPDB, EPDM, ERP). Working side by side with PMP subject matter experts, Procurement, Receiving Inspection and PMP manufacturers you'll develop requirements to fulfill product schedule, cost and performance requirements.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Available for full on-site work at Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related program from an accredited university or college.
· Experience working and/or willingness to learn PMP (Parts, Materials, and Processes)
· Basic understanding of
Electrical/Electronic/Electro-mechanical (EEE) parts performance requirements and specifications
· Available for full on-site work at Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.
Desired Skills:
· Experience successfully completing projects
and/or multi-discipline team efforts by applying
technical knowledge and leadership skills
· Documentation Engineering experience: plans
and coordinates preparation of documentation to
balance technical, cost and schedule needs
· Basic experience in software tools such as MS Office (Access, Excel, Project), SAP, is a plus
· Familiar with using business tools and systems for configuration management and quality
control (e.g. SAP, EPDM, PMPDB, LIMS)
· Experience using EXCEL pivot tables for data reporting
· Basic knowledge of relational databases is a plus
· Experience maintaining and manipulating SharePoint sites is desirable.
· Experience working collaboratively with customers and teammates with a customer focus
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
· Proficient with Microsoft Office

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
