Description:Are you the kind of accounting leader who thrives on turning complexity into clarity, bridges legacy finance with tomorrow’s AI‑driven ecosystem, and treats every month‑end close as a chance to tell a compelling financial story? Join us as the Lead Corporate Accounting Analyst and become the strategic ‘general athlete’ who designs, builds, and future‑proofs the finance engine of a global powerhouse.
As a key contributor, you will not only ensure the integrity of our SEC filings and month-end close but also act as a functional architect for our SAP S/4 HANA and Oracle FCC migrations. You will bridge the gap between technical accounting rigor and modern financial technology, ensuring our systems and processes are built for the future of AI-driven finance.

Global Consolidations & GL Operations: Oversee inter-company eliminations and global consolidations using Hyperion; deliver high-level variance analysis and "financial storytelling" for senior leadership.
Systems & Digital Transformation: Serve as a functional lead for the S/4 HANA and FCC implementation; champion the use of AI, RPA, Power BI, and Tableau to automate manual workflows.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with IT, Transformation Office, Tax, Treasury, FP&A Internal Audit, and Business Area functions to lead special projects and drive change.
Interested candidates should expect to work on-site at least 1 day per week (currently Tuesday) and as needed to meet business needs (especially month end and quarterly close). This role is based in Bethesda, MD.
Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of 5 years in Public Accounting
2–3 years of post-public accounting experience in a corporate reporting or technical accounting role.
Active CPA is required.
Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements including ASC 606.
Expert-level Excel skills and the ability to manage complex reconciliations across disparate data sources.
Proven ability to translate technical accounting treatments into clear, actionable insights for non-finance executives.
Desired Skills:Direct experience large ERP implementations, prefer SAP S/4 HANA migrations or implementing FCC consolidation tools.
Experience using Power Query, Power BI, or Tableau to create automated dashboards and reduce manual data entry.
Demonstrated ability to lead long-term project plans and manage cross-functional stakeholders through organizational change.
Familiarity with AI, RPA (Robotic Process Automation) or other lean accounting initiatives.
