Description:You will be the Engineering Aide Senior for the Ground Systems Hardware Team which is responsible for supporting the physical build‑up and assembly of commercial off‑the‑shelf (COTS) ground hardware components.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Engineering Aide you will be responsible for interpreting build‑to‑print instructions and assembling hardware while collaborating with the engineering team on process and implementation questions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reading and interpreting detailed build‑to‑print drawings for COTS hardware such as servers, desks, switches, and computers.
- Assembling, testing, and verifying hardware components to meet quality and performance standards.
- Collaborating with the engineering team to resolve process, fit, and implementation issues.
- Maintaining accurate build documentation, part inventories, and work order records.
- Supporting logistics and material handling to ensure timely availability of components.

Basic Qualifications:- Basic knowledge of commercial hardware systems (computers, servers, networks)
- Demonstrated experience collaborating in a cross functional environment
- Demonstrated organizational and communication skills
- Ability to interpret work instructions and/or engineering drawings
Desired Skills:- Hands on expertise in assembling, integrating, or building computer hardware.
- Experience working in a production environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
