You will be the Manufacturing Planner Associate for the Manufacturing Planning Team. Our team is responsible for production planning and material readiness.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner Associate, you will partner closely with Quality, Purchasing, Warehousing, and Production teams to ensure materials and schedules align to meet program demands. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build foundational experience in production planning, inventory control, and supply chain coordination within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor production schedules and ensure work orders are released on time to support program needs
• Create and maintain reports to track material status, shortages, and schedule performance
• Coordinate daily material requirements with Purchasing and Expediting teams
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain accurate system data
• Confirm material supply and demand to support uninterrupted production flow
• Communicate material availability risks and potential production impacts to program and operations teams
• Support stock transfers and inter-site material movements as needed
• Assist in resolving shortages, over-shipments, engineering changes, and traceability concerns
• Maintain and update MRP parameters (lead times, lot sizes, BOM changes) in coordination with Engineering and Change Control
• Assist in preparing and processing DD250 documentation to support product shipments and customer acceptance, ensuring required data and approvals are complete and accurate
