WHAT WE'RE DOING
Our team supports critical naval and defense missions by planning and executing Alteration Installation Team (AIT) projects that enhance and modernize fleet capabilities. Through close collaboration with government customers and internal engineering teams, we ensure system alterations are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule to meet mission needs.
THE WORK
As an AIT Project Engineering Planner, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of AIT projects across multiple platforms and locations. Responsibilities include:
• Performing technical and programmatic coordination with government customers and internal stakeholders
• Preparing and delivering cost estimates, schedules, and technical documentation to government customers
• Managing configuration control and maintaining databases of project deliverables
• Supporting the enhancement, maintenance, and effective use of project engineering tools
• Assisting project engineering teams in tracking progress, risks, and deliverables throughout the AIT lifecycle
• Traveling up to 25% to waterfront locations, including Norfolk, VA; San Diego, CA; Washington, DC; Pascagoula, MS; and between Lockheed Martin campuses in the Moorestown, NJ area

You are an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working at the intersection of engineering, planning, and customer engagement. You bring:
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with government customers
• Experience or interest in project engineering, planning, cost estimating, or technical documentation
• A structured, analytical approach to managing data, deliverables, and configuration-controlled environments
• The ability to collaborate across engineering, program management, and operations teams
• Flexibility to travel as needed to support project execution

-2 or more years’ of experience assisting with or leading project planning efforts.
-Experience coordinating meetings, note taking on action items.
-Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
-Ability to travel up to 25%
-Experience setting up and leading virtual meetings utilizing Video/Teleconferencing
-Experience with technical document editing utilizing PDF editor software
-Experience developing MS Excel macros to organize and manipulate data
-Experience working with US Navy or other military
-Experience or knowledge of AIT and/or NAVSEA standard items
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $67400.00 - $125200.00
