Join the EADGE-T team and help modernize an integrated air and missile defense and air battle management capability for the United Arab Emirates. As part of the EADGE-T UAE Tech Refresh, you'll lead the delivery of hardware modernization and foundational cybersecurity enhancements while helping deploy the next generation of this mission-critical system.
Working alongside an international customer, you'll help deliver one of Lockheed Martin's premier international defense programs.
THE WORK
As the Engineering Project Manager (EPM), you'll lead the execution of a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for delivering the UAE Tech Refresh. You'll oversee technical execution, engineering integration, schedule, and operational readiness while ensuring the successful delivery of mission capabilities from development through customer acceptance. In this role, you'll serve as both the engineering execution lead and first-line leader, partnering with program leadership, customers, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver complex capabilities on cost, on schedule, and with the highest levels of technical quality.

Standard Job Description: Accountable for overall engineering technical, cost and schedule performance on a specific program. Provides primary Tech Ops interface with Program Management (PM) Office/Customer for all programmatic items on a specific program.Responsible for identification and closure of technical issues.Meets/Exceeds all technical commitments made to the programs.Tracks Estimated time to Complete/Earned Value Management (ETC/EVM) Metrics to monitor program performance and identify technical or Tech Ops staffing risks, while managing cost/schedule.Ensures requirements baseline in documents, tracked, maintained, and verified.Ensures establishment and tracking of key Technical Performance Measures (TPM).Provides timely and accurate projections of engineering resource requirements.Works closely with first and second line functional leaders to identify and secure appropriate staffing, coordinates with the PM office and first line managers on proposed engineering staffing changes prior to changes.Works with PM to ensure organizational standard processes are adapted, approved and followed.Leverages proven processes, lessons learned, and best practices from other parts of business or industry.In concert with the LOB and/or Market Segment Chief Engineer, ensures program plans and technical baselines are consistent with Program Control processes and Modern Engineering Practices.EPM is also responsible for the Chief Architect (CA) roles and responsibilities when the project or market segment does not utilize CAs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Prior Engineering Leadership position with experience leading execution of complex development programs
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and risk management abilities.
- Extensive experience leading teams in generation of technical products with the ability to prioritize competing requirements and customer objectives

Demonstrated team player and proven success working in cross-functional teams with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in systems engineering/architecture, allocation & derivation of requirements, design & development, Integration & Test with a thorough understanding of the entire engineering product life cycle.
- Demonstrated experience successfully leading engineering teams and programs through effective use of metrics, process, and tools
- Ability to travel within the UAE to customer sites
- Engineering experience on a C2 or IAMD program
Experience working on international programs
- Earned Value knowledge
- Familiarity with automated CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Experience with network architecture, virtualization (VMware), and data center/rack integration.
Background coordinating complex field deployments and installations at customer facilities.
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) or Lockheed Martin Control Account Manager (CAM) certification
- Jira and Confluence experience
- Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing the critical skills of others
- Prior experience as a functional leader or Engineering Program Management; Providing technical leadership and strategic direction
- Refining and growing existing processes, or developing new ones, to enable smooth functioning of the UAE TRP1 engineering team
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00
