This Manufacturing Support Team Member will perform as a Processing Supervisor for Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Missile/Reentry Systems payload production, leading a team of represented employees. This position provides technical, safety and security oversight of payload processing activities as a Supervisor in the Limited Area Production & Storage Complex at the Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Qualify and maintain proficiency as Processing Supervisor and Nuclear Weapons Handling Supervisor.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the production teams and production support groups to ensure production is prepared for new processes, upcoming inspections, events, etc. This includes coordination to ensure required tools, equipment, spares are available, and training is provided.
• Equip new production personnel for successful completion of the qualification process.
• Maintain the qualification, checklists, and training (QCT) program for production personnel.
• Provide continuing training for production workforce to develop high performing teams.
• Determine production team assignments to support production and storage operations.
• Ensure compliance with LM SWFPAC Accident Prevention Program Manual (APPM) to include management of hazardous materials, hazardous waste, and consumables.
• Ensure compliance with union collective bargaining agreement policies.
• Review and maintain Unsatisfactory Report Responses.
• Ensure support equipment maintenance and calibration are properly scheduled and accomplished.
The selected candidate will participate in the Navy's Personnel Reliability and Nuclear Weapon Radiological Controls Programs (PRP and RADCON). PRP requires applicant to submit to careful screening, selection, and continuous evaluation process to ensure only those demonstrating the highest degree of individual reliability, trustworthiness, personal conduct, and integrity are selected. The Manufacturing Support Team Member will consistently monitor employee activity against PRP standards and will be able to obtain and maintain a top secret security clearance.
**This position requires an Interim Secret clearance prior to start. U.S. Citizenship required**
• Previous supervisory experience in industrial environment or experience executing complex technical processes and enforcing strict safety compliance as a member of specialized mechanical teams.
• Familiarity with Microsoft office suite.
• Ability to qualify for and willingness to participate in the PRP (Navy Personnel Reliability Program).
• Ability to qualify for and willingness to participate in the RADCON (Radiation Controls) program.
• US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret Security clearance. Interim Secret Clearance required prior to start.
• Proactive Leadership abilities in dynamic work environments.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate effective working relationships.
• Demonstrated initiative; promotes change from an optimistic point of view.
• Effective interpersonal communication and team building skills.
• Currently in, or previously participated in, the PRP (Navy Personnel Reliability Program).

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $67400.00 - $125200.00
