The Fusion Block Captain (Release Train Engineer (RTE)) serves as the servant‑leader and chief Scrum Master for an Agile Release Train (ART). The RTE is responsible for orchestrating the planning, execution, and delivery of full Program Increments (PIs) across multiple cross‑functional Agile teams and contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives, high‑quality outcomes, and continuous improvement. Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met. Lead PI Planning events and other ART ceremonies. Prepare and maintain backlog readiness in partnership with Product Management and System Architects. Facilitate synchronization across teams (Scrum‑of‑Scrums, PO Sync, ART Sync).
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $182500.00 - $338900.00
