LMI is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to support a Department of War mission partner on a digital modernization effort. This role sustains and modernizes government-owned business applications built on the Microsoft technology stack, keeping mission-critical .NET applications running reliably while helping re-engineer and migrate them into a secure AWS GovCloud environment. The engineer will work across the full stack, from SQL Server data layers to React front ends, within a DevSecOps pipeline. This is a largely remote position; however, candidates must reside in the vicinity of San Diego, CA to support periodic onsite collaboration.
This position requires an active Secret clearance.

Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications across the Microsoft .NET stack, including C# with .NET Framework and .NET Core, ASP.NET WebForms and MVC, and IIS.
Build and maintain responsive front-end interfaces using JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
Develop and integrate data solutions on Microsoft SQL Server, including SSIS packages and SSRS reports, and connect applications to data warehouses and data marts.
Modernize legacy Microsoft applications to current frameworks, operating systems, and Agile practices.
Operate within a DevSecOps pipeline using Azure DevOps, managing source control, builds, and secure CI/CD workflows.
Support the re-engineering and migration of applications into a secure AWS GovCloud environment.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage work through Azure DevOps boards and backlogs.
Support sustainment and governance activities, including technical documentation, change and incident management, user resources, and cybersecurity accreditation efforts.
Coordinate with government technical leads, platform and security teams, and other developers to deliver secure, reliable solutions.
