Job Description
SAIC is hiring for an Enterprise Project Manager (PM) to join a Program Management Office (PMO) team supporting a major state & local government customer. The PM has primary responsibility for managing projects and will be responsible for:
- Establishing and defining project plan requirements.
- Developing schedules and budgets to meet contractual/project requirements.
- Monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met.
- Reporting on program level schedule & quality adherence to agreed upon standards
dentifying and resolving project risks and issues; developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. - Maintaining compliance with Commonwealth of Virginia standard policies, procedures, standards.
- Using and applying industry best practices, techniques, and standards in project management.
Qualifications
Role Requirements and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience managing projects and project scheduling. Experience with state & local government customers is a strong plus.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Prior experience working in or supporting a PMO.
- Significant experience in supervising Project Analysts, supporting project scheduling and managing projects.
- Significant experience developing risk management and mitigation planning.
- Significant experience supporting project scheduling and managing projects.
- Prior experience in Supplier Management.
- Experience working in ITSM.
- Prior experience working with ServiceNow.
- Prior experience developing OLAs, Governance, Policy, and Procedures.
- Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more of related experience.
- PMP Certification Required .
- ITIL Certification Preferred.
- CSM Certification Preferred.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, MS Visio, SharePoint, and Adobe Products.
- Proficient with MS Project Professional or Standard; MS Project Online preferred.
- Prior experience working with ServiceNow project scheduling function preferred.
- Prior experience working with or for a Commonwealth of VA Agency or VITA desired.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
