This requisition is for a Project Engineer (IC2) to support Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) projects for the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program. The Project Engineer will be an IPT lead over several projects, spanning across multiple contracts. As an IPT lead, the Project Engineer will be responsible for leading all aspects of the project, including schedule, cost, risks, opportunities, and general performance of the effort. The Project Engineer will be generating BOEs (Basis of Estimates / Proposals), Schedules, and Cost Plans for the scope they are responsible for. This specific role will be managing projects for the LE / LE2 program.

Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Must be a U.S Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
- Candidates must be comfortable with presenting information to senior leadership and customers.
- Ability to lead teams of engineers across multiple disciplines.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to be proactive & plan.
- Possess strong organizational skills.
- General understanding of Earned Value Management.
- General understanding of program planning.
- General understanding of program lifecycle
Desired Skills
- Previous lead experience (IPT Lead, Project Management, Team lead, etc.).
- General technical knowledge of Mechanical Ground Support Equipment and / or FBM Program .
- Risk and Opportunitiy management experience.
- Demonstrated expereince in driving complex issues or problems to successful closure.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management.
- Experience with proposals and / or fact finding.
- Engineering experience.
- Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
