• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university; Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with electrical hardware design or a related discipline
• Experience in electrical hardware design for development and/or production phases in aerospace or a similar industry
• Ability to interpret and read complex electrical schematics for circuit card assemblies (CCA)
• Experience troubleshooting hardware like CCAs, harnesses, etc
• Strong hands-on skills with electrical/electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers, DMMs, automated test equipment)
• Proven background providing production line support, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Must be a US Citizen; must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance
• Experience with MFC circuit card design processes and the Design Assurance process
• Demonstrated effective communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Experience with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools
• Experience working technical proposals
• Experience with signal integrity design tools such as Hyperlynx
• Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) principles
• Experience with Windchill or Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools
• Experience working failure investigation, root cause, and corrective action
• Experience working with suppliers and leading suppliers during technical issue investigation
• Experience dispositioning and/or troubleshooting non-conforming hardware (Failure Review Board and Material Review Board)
• Candidate able to obtain MRBE status with appropriate training/mentoring
• Knowledge of or experience in obsolescence management
• Active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
