Job Description
Varen, an SAIC company is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team. They Systems Administrator will support the IT O&M team to provide high performance, highly available server technology solutions.
This position in located in Suitland, MD and requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph to be considered.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide O&M support - install, configure, secure and harden, test, sustain, upgrade, remediate, decommission.
- Support existing server-based solutions across a variety of major technology vendors
Troubleshoot and support and guidance to assess and remediate challenges primarily in the CDS domain. - Ensure CDS-based and enterprise-wide networking devices and components are tested, implemented, and maintained within operational and required configurations to provide the most secure operating environment possible.
- Produce and maintain documentation for deployed systems, subsystems, components.
Qualifications
- Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
- Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
- TS/SCI with polygraph
- Possesses expertise in 1 or more operating systems, experienced with configuration, patch management, version and sub-version upgrades.
Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
