Job Description
We are seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) to join our multi-million dollar, national intelligence program supporting the Cloud Investment Multi-Cloud Management (CIMM) team. As a contributor to the intelligence community's first multi-cloud initiative, you will be at the epicenter of emergent cloud computing technologies establishing a foundation that will evolve to include all agencies within the IC. As a Database Administrator, you will oversee and influence Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) in infrastructure management and maintenance.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
- Five (5) years or more of demonstrated experience in one or more of the following:
- Leveraging cloud agnostic database services
- Leveraging cloud solutions such as Relational, Document, and Key Value databases
- Leveraging attributes of SQL and Non-SQL databases
- Cloud infrastructure data migration
- Knowledge of database administrative activities associated with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google
- Cloud (GCP), IBM Cloud, and/or Oracle Cloud
- Knowledge of containers and microservices
- Knowledge of cloud automation services
- Experience with three (3) or more of the following tools:
- AWS RDS
- Oracle DB
- Google DB
- Postgres
- Elastisearch
- Azure SQL
- IBM DB
Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
