Officers in the Human Intelligence Career Field perform a wide variety of functions to execute and support the mission, including overt and clandestine collection of intelligence across a spectrum of sources and methods, management of the collection and reporting cycle, and direct intelligence support to collectors and collection operations.

From overt collection to clandestine operations, Human Intelligence officers often put their lives at risk to collect and disseminate actionable intelligence to the Nation’s warfighters, policymakers and defense planners. As an officer in this career fi eld, you will perform a wide variety of functions to manage every aspect of the collection reporting cycle.
