Develop detailed calculations, layouts, and part drawings based on general design outlines. Design less‑complex mechanical units (e.g., chassis, component layouts) while considering economical manufacturing methods. Produce and release accurate engineering drawings. Generate part lists and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Maintain design documentation using CAD tools and Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
