Description: As a Aircraft Mechanic III, you will be responsible for: • The Aircraft Mechanic III is part of the Lockheed Martin modification team at Bob Sikes Airport in Crestview, Florida, and will provide subject matter expertise with installing and modifying structural components of high complexity. • The Aircraft Mechanic III will need to have a strong understanding of C-130 aircraft and will be responsible for all structural modification and installation efforts. • The Aircraft Mechanic III will provide guidance and expertise to the other mechanical technicians in regard to demod, lay out, drilling, installing, inspecting, sealing, painting, reinstallations, and testing. • The candidate will provide leadership and subject matter expert (SME) technical knowledge to the technicians to accomplish all aspects of the aircraft modification. • The qualified applicant will coordinate with supervision to resolve any technical problems that may arise during the modification. •...
