Description: You will be the U-2 Mechanic Field Service Representative - Level 3 for the U-2 Program at Beale Air Force Base which is responsible for sustaining the iconic high altitude reconnaissance aircraft. What You Will Be Doing: As the U-2 Mechanic Field Service Representative - Level 3 you will be the on site liaison delivering hands on support, mentorship, and problem solving for the fleet. Description: Possess a working knowledge of basic mechanical and electro-mechanical systems and possess a knowledge of basic shop theory and practices, including safety regulations, necessary to prepare vehicle and AGE mechanical and electro-mechanical systems and equipment for test launch purposes. Possess a knowledge of working characteristics of materials used in vehicle manufacture and propulsion. Normally requires two years of technical training beyond high school plus one year of related mechanical experience.
