Description SAIC is seeking an Engineering Technician III in Bedford, IN to support the U.S. Navy. This position is responsible for performing activities involving the assembling and integration of military and commercial systems including modification of military platforms. This position will be on base working in the serpentine area overhauling serpentines. The candidate must be familiar with mechanical and electrical concepts and applications and must have experience using testing equipment such as: volt/ohm meters, power supplies, micrometers, calipers and depth gauges. The Navy is developing upgrades to provide future capabilities to the Trident II missile as part of the Life Extension 2 (LE2) program. You will be part of a collaborative team of engineers and support technicians working to bring a variety of mechanical designs from the early concept stage all the way through fabrication for the LE2 program.
