Description SAIC has an opening for an organized and motivated Mechanical Engineer who is looking to serve as the main mechanical point of contact (POC) for multiple torpedo test equipment modernization and development efforts with the intent of fully leading the individual efforts once enough experience and familiarity with the systems is gained. The candidate will also support smaller R&D electromechanical projects and production-related activities out of our Middletown, RI office. The role encompasses collaboration with diverse stakeholders, leveraging specialized tools for design capture, analysis, modeling, and simulation while ensuring successful communication and integration of solutions within a multidisciplinary team.
