Description SAIC is seeking an organized and motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer in Middletown, RI who will work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be part of a collaborative team of engineers and support technicians working to bring a variety of mechanical designs from the early concept stage all the way through fabrication. Job Duties: Design mechanical systems for underwater applications, custom data acquisition systems, and automated test hardware for land-based testing of naval systems. Create fabrication drawings of all hardware. Create technical data package for systems and control configuration management of the drawings. Tasking will include project management of products assigned, including resource management, scheduling, inventory management and quality assurance of products.
