Description SAIC is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer in Middletown, RI to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians. You'll help bring mechanical designs from concept through fabrication and testing, working under the direction of senior engineers. Job Duties : Support the design of automated test hardware for land-based testing of naval systems and underwater applications. Create CAD parts and assemblies and contribute to technical data packages. Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to keep assemblies and deliverables on schedule. Assist with prototype assembly, integration, and testing of hardware. Participate in customer and team meetings and report task status.
