Description: This position in the Lockheed Martin Government Affairs Office in Yorktown, VA supports various corporate and business area initiatives associated with the United States Air Force in the Hampton Roads area. This senior manager will be the primary interface between Lockheed Martin and Air Combat Command and other tenant organizations at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA. An understanding of US Government acquisition, budgeting and requirements processes is essential. Equally important is a thorough understanding of Air Combat Command's role as the lead of the Combat Air Forces in defining requirements and directing daily Operations and Logistics functions. Principal internal customers are the four domestic business areas with focus on Aeronautics, Missile and Fire Control and Rotary and Mission Systems.
