Description: We’re looking for an experienced Aerospace Inspector to join our team. This person will use their talents as a member of Sikorsky’s FAA ODA Inspection Unit to review aircraft articles to determine their airworthiness and eligibility for export. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to become an ODA inspection unit member You will be responsible for the following activities: • Review outbound delivery articles to determine airworthiness and eligibility for export where relevant. Review and issue FAA 8130-3 domestic or export Airworthiness Approvals. • Perform customer specific outbound inspection. • Provide expertise and guidance to the inspection teams. • Use your expertise to answer questions about product conformity from non-technical personnel. • Perform inspection on returned material.
