Description: The Electronics Technician will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, testing, and documentation of electrical cable and harnesses used in Ground Support Equipment (GSE). Working from detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and established processes, you will cut, strip, splice, crimp, label, and verify assemblies to ensure they meet Lockheed Martin quality and safety standards. Basic Qualifications: • Ability to read, understand and fabricate to electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and drawings. • Prior experience with cable and harness fabrication to print. • Prior experience with test tools and processes. Description: Inspects purchased parts and materials for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements using predetermined methods and in some cases may determine methods and sequences. Inspects for proper identity and dimensions using such measuring devices as micrometers, gauges, and calipers. Visually inspects for obvious defects or damage such as corrosion, cracks, dents, scratches, and pits. Verifies specifications using purchase orders, blueprints, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists. Makes pass/fail decisions on inspected goods.
