Description: Function  Plan and perform measuring machine (CMM) inspection operations on vendor and in-house manufactured parts. Description: Perform a variety of ordinary metrology duties to conduct the periodic inspection and calibration of less complex assets. Follow general instructions to work from metrology procedures and standards and Sikorsky Tooling Manual to perform inspection and calibration duties. Set up and operate less complex precision gages to inspect and calibrate to metrological standards. Also perform repetitive inspection and calibration operations on thread gages, cylindrical plug gages, and drill pins, etc. Assist higher grade inspectors and perform other similar or related duties. Refer problems or difficulties to higher grade inspector, working leader or foreman.
