Material Handling Laborer

Description SAIC is seeking a Material Handling Laborer to join our team in North Charleston, SC . This position is 100% on site. The Material Handling Laborer will: Exercise care in the use of company equipment and tools. Observe all safety programs and practices. Assemble orders and kits of materials, parts, and assemblies for transfer to production and shipping. Record and document material receipts, transfers, and inventory accounting. Examine material(s) to verify damage and report discrepancies. Compute amount of material(s) needed for specific job orders. Qualifications Required Education and Experience: High school diploma/GED equivalent. Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Tools (Word and Excel in particular). Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance. Desirable: Previous warehouse experience.
