THE WORK Receive sketches, descriptions (verbal or written), or conceptual CAD input and design complete mechanical equipment and mechanical features of electronic equipment for end‑item projects. Participate in design for proposals, 3‑D printing, IRAD, prototypes, or engineering development. Prepare calculations, layouts, details, and assemblies—including 3‑D models, 2‑D drawings, parts lists, and bills of material—to ensure designs meet ASME drafting, modeling, and drawing requirements and adhere to company standards for simplicity, manufacturability, and cost‑effectiveness.
