Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring an Electric Power Generation (EPG) Field Technician in Richmond, Virginia. The EPG Field Service Technician is responsible for accurately diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing complex operational failures to electrical generator systems and related basic engine failures at customer sites. Seeking candidates with Minimum three years’ experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex issues and performing heavy electrical repairs to electrical generator systems and related equipment; Must have experience performing megger and vibration testing and genset alignment; Must have experience installing and commissioning gensets; High school diploma or GED required.
