Description SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Edge Systems Engineer to join our expanding, multi-disciplined team of professionals based out of our Identity and Data Sciences Laboratory (IDSL) in Upper Marlboro, MD. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in installing, testing, and evaluating on-prem and remote systems and processes that may improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and satisfaction of customer field activities. The IDSL team works with technologies that include biometric and identity acquisition and data processing systems, data capture instrumentation and recording systems, and high throughput screening systems. The IDSL team operates the internationally recognized Maryland Test Facility (MdTF; company website ) to carry out both large- and small-scale laboratory and field evaluations.
