Standard Job Description Directs the architecting and designing of Radio Frequency systems and circuitry. Coordinates subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Manages the design and development of RF circuitry used in high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers. Leads the staff responsible for hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test. Oversees the preparation of the following: test methods and specifications; analysis and testing of RF hardware to verify performance characteristics. Provides inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and supports manufacturing during the deliverable assembly and test phase.
