Description: What You Will Be Doing This Aircraft Mechanic I duties and responsibilities encompass the primary responsibility of modifying and refurbishing C-130 aircraft interior furnishings. The responsibility requires intricate modification and customization of the upholstering to meet the specific and special operations mission set of the C-130 Aircraft. This Aircraft Mechanic I will also be responsible for all airframe unique interior configurations, modifications, and fabrication. The mechanic will act as the subject matter expert for C-130 upholstering modification and fabrication. The individual must have a comprehensive knowledge of C-130 aircraft upholstering, general upholstery techniques, and a robust knowledge of the tools and equipment required for furnishing and upholstering.
