Description SAIC is seeking a Power Systems Mechanical Engineer to support battery integration efforts for Expeditionary Energy Systems in Crane, IN . JOB RESPONSIBILITES: Creating System Qualification Test Plans, Performance Test Plans, Safety/Hazard Characterization Test Plans, Procedures, and Reports Execute (or oversee a team to execute) the tests at NSWC Crane and Expeditionary Battery fielded system locations and battery vendor sites Conduct Field Integration and Operational Check-out through Initial Operating Capability, perform periodic Field Maintenance on large batteries Perform Reliability Analyses and Safety Engineering processes on systems Qualifications REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE: Bachelor's in mechanical engineering and five (5) years or more experience; master's and three (3) years or more experience Experience creating mechanical/electrical engineering designs, prototype, test plans, and system integration...
