Description: You will be the Electromechanical Design Engineer for the Common Command Flight Termination System (FTS) team. Our team leads the IRAD and ModSTAR initiatives that create reusable, high reliability hardware for flight termination applications across all future Lockheed Martin missile programs. What You Will Be Doing As the Electromechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing the ISD (Ignition Safety device) packaging that will serve as the common ISD backbone for every new FTS. You will work hand in hand with electrical, mechanical and systems engineers to turn performance requirements into a manufacturable, flight qualified hardware solution.
