Description: This Quality Engineer (QE) will report to the Quality & Mission Success manager for F-35 Wings at the Fort Worth, TX manufacturing facility. The QE will be expected to regularly review manufacturing defects for root cause and corrective action, partner with Production Operations to mitigate scrap, rework and repair generated during standard manufacturing processes, develop inspection methods as needed, and perform various analyses of quality-related data. The QE is expected to spend time on the production floor to establish process familiarity, build relationships with Production personnel, and share quality engineering knowledge with junior QEs. Description: What You Will Be Doing This position is required to execute the sustainment of Shop Floor Manager (SFM), as well as support the execution of the next generation of Manufacturing Systems from time to time. Candidates must be able to investigate and gather information concerning the technical capabilities of production operations systems and stay abreast of developments in software that may be used to improve existing fabrication and assembly processes.
