Description: The Operations Engineer will implement, drive, monitor, and report the progress/health of the Continuous Improvement System to the Major Build Unit Director, serving as the primary point-of-contact for matters relating to Continuous Improvement within build areas. Utilizing multiple problem solving methods (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.). The Operations Engineer’s main focus will be to increase the overall quality and deliverability of our product while decreasing the total cost of production. Understands the Continuous Improvement Frameworks, improvement, and management operating systems, and serves as the subject matter expert in all of its elements, to include PMT, IPT, and Tier 2 & Tier 3 Obeya. Provides continuity and sustainment of the CIF/MOS, independent of leadership and employee attrition and/or changes within the MBU.
