Description SAIC is looking for an Engineering Technician III in Crane, IN to support the U.S. Navy. Job duties include: Provide test and evaluation, troubleshooting, lot acceptance, qualification, engineering analysis, documentation, procedure/process creation, shipment/receipt and vendor coordination of batteries. Provide test and evaluation of various battery chemistries, including Li-ion, Lithium Iron Disulfide, Lithium Calcium and Lead Acid. Support battery testing that will consist of testing temperature/humidity cycling, pressure/altitude, acceleration, vibration, and mechanical shock.
