Description SAIC is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer at NSA Crane . The Navy is developing upgrades to provide future capabilities to the Trident II missile as part of the Life Extension 2 (LE2) program. You will be part of a collaborative team of engineers and support technicians working to bring a variety of mechanical designs from the early concept stage all the way through fabrication for the LE2 program. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and management services for several mechanical launch/platform systems. Job Duties: Tasking will include project management of products assigned, including resource management, scheduling, and quality assurance of products. Work directly with vendors and manufacturers of mechanical systems, custom fabrications, and assemblies to ensure on time and sufficient deliverables.
