Description SAIC is seeking a System Safety Engineer to support the US Navy in Indianapolis, IN . This position has hybrid and/or remote potential. JOB DESCRIPTION : The Systems Safety Engineer will support a wide range of military programs and initiatives at SAIC Indianapolis. The Systems Safety Engineer will ensure system safety is incorporated throughout the lifecycle of defense systems, platforms, and equipment. This role involves the application of system safety engineering principles to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to personnel, assets, and mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of MIL-STD-882E, DoD safety requirements, and other safety-related regulatory frameworks.
