Description The Senior Technical Writer will support Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) editing and creating IETMs (Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals) and TMs (Technical Manuals) using PTC Arbortext to MIL-STD-3001 specification. This position will be onsite at our facility in Indianapolis, IN. JOB DUTIES: Author, edit, and develop IETMs and TMs for NAVAIR equipment, to cover maintenance, operation, repair, theory of operation, troubleshooting, and Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB) in accordance with MIL-STD-3001 requirements. Author, prepare, review, revise, and develop IETMs and TMs for NAVAIR equipment from source data such as Logistics Product Data, Engineering Drawings, and Maintenance Plans for equipment operation and maintenance.
