Description SAIC is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to support our NAVWAR customer in Portsmouth, VA. This will be an ONSITE ROLE . JOB DUTIES: Performs desktop publishing for IETM development. Writes, rewrites, and/or edits technical documents such as operations and maintenance manuals, system administrator guides, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions. Acquires subject knowledge by interviewing product/software developers, referring to technical specifications, engineering drawings, and DoD Instructions. Prepares materials in accordance with MIL-SPECs and standards. Conducts quality review and validation of materials. Supports Test and evaluation events for program milestones.
