Description: Will train on weekdays and transfer to weekend shift 9 x 80. 1. Operates various controls and processes required in the collection storing, processing, distribution and transportation of industrial wastewater, regulated and special wastes to ensure compliance with mandated regulations and permits. Responds to hazardous material incidents to support containment and clean-up of materials to protect personnel and the environment. Performs process and emergency sampling as required. 2. Maintains current skills training required by regulations and permits. 3. Maintain and operates wastewater collection, including washing, jet cleaners and vacuum truck cleaning. Monitors waste water treatment operations and makes necessary adjustments to controls, valves, pumps and other mechanical and electrical equipment as required.
